Is it possible to fall in love on the first date?

That was the case for President Barack Obama and First Lady Michelle Obama. Mrs. Obama is the first to admit that she didn’t see potential in the future politician, but all it took was alone time on a 1989 summer day in Chicago and she would immediately become smitten. South Side with You starring Tika Sumpter (Michelle) and Parker Sawyers (Barack) gives us a glimpse at what would become a romance for the U.S. History books.

The young lawyer made it clear that her outing with the new associate at her law firm was strictly professional and “not a date”.

Good thing he convinced her otherwise.
